Tila ibon kung lumipad [Seem if birds flying]
Sumabay sa hangin [ along with the wind]
Akoy napatingin [ I noticed]
Sa dalagang nababalot ng hiwaga...[ a young woman wrapped in mystery]

Mapapansin kaya [Will you notice]
Sa dami ng 'yong ginagawa [with all the work you are doing]
Kung kaagaw ko ang lahat [ if I snatched it all up]
May pag asa bang makilala ka...[ Is there hope of getting to know you]

Awit na nananawagan [Song of calling]
Baka sakaling napakikinggan [if by chance you are listening]
Pag ibig na pala isipan [love of graceful thought]
Sa kanta na lang idaraan... [to sing the only pathway...]

Nag-aabang sa langit.. [waiting to the sky]
Sa mga ulap sumisilip.. [to the clouds peeping]
Sa likod ng mga tala.. [to the back of the notes]
Kahit sulyap lang darna....!!! [only a glimpse darna]

Ang swerte nga naman ni Ding [Ding is lucky]
Lagi ka nyang kapiling [he's always besides you]
Kung ako sa kanya [if I was him]
Niligawan na kita... [I would be with you]

Mapapansin kaya [ Will you notice]
Sa dami ng 'yong ginagawa [with all the work you have]
Kung kaagaw ko ang lahat [ if I snatched it all up]
May pag asa bang makilala ka... [is there hope of getting to know you]

Awit na nananawagan [Song of calling]
Baka sakaling napakikinggan [if by chance you are listening]
Pag ibig na pala isipan [love of graceful thought]
Sa kanta na lang idaraan... [to sing the only pathway..]

Nag-aabang sa langit.. [Watching to the sky..]
Sa mga ulap sumisilip.. [ to the clouds peeping..]
Sa likod ng mga tala.. [to the back of the note..]
Kahit sulyap lang darna....!!! [just a glimpse darna...!!!]

Tumalon kaya ako sa bangin [Do I have to jump into a gorge]
Para lang iyong sagipin.. [in order for you to rescue me..]
Ito ang tanging paraan [Is this the only way]
Para mayakap ka.. [ to get a hug from you..]

Darating kaya [Come so]
Sa dami ng 'yong ginagawa [with all the work you have]
Kung kaagaw ko sila [if I snatched them all up]
Paano na kaya?.. [How so?...]

Nag-aabang sa langit.. [wait to the sky]
Sa mga ulap sumisilip.. [to the clouds peeping]
Sa likod ng mga tala.. [to the back of the note]
Kahit sulyap lang darna....!!! [just a glimpse darna]

A translation of the Kamikazee song Narda was requested by Lyle Prijoles a blogger and the current chair of the League of Filipino Students-SFSU.

During their Baliksambayanan, a summer exposure trip in the Philippines, in 2006 the Leauge of Filipino Students -SFSU integrated with various sectors.

When they visited a few high schools/colleges they did  room to room presentations about the what President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo will be addressing during her State of the Nation Address(SONA) and how it contradicts what the struggling Filipino people need.

During their presentations they heard about the struggles that youth and students face each day. Moreover, these exposurists saw how the schools’ facilities are not up to code, where the schools are overcapacity and have class in hallways, courtyards, etc. They reported when visiting a school there was only one restroom that actually worked with only a few stalls that worked.

They connected their struggles on how the Philippine Government is responsible for the welfare of its people.

LFSers used the melody of Narda to sing an anti-GMA jingle to educate the students and to get students to come out to the People’s SONA.

The journers encountered a talented little girl who was part of an urban poor community who she sang this song. They said that even at a time when people are struggling they still find time to make the best out of life.
